Update on Man United Transfers

According to reports from the British tabloid, The Sunday Mirror, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, has literally ordered the club and its Billionaire owner, Ed Woodward to launch a bid to Tottenham that would difficult to reject.

Mourinho, like most top managers in the business, doesn’t like wasting his time in developing young talents but prefers proven players, particularly strikers and Tottenham's top striker, though a bit young, fits this bill. It’s said that Mourinho is a close admirer of Henry Kane, the 23-year-old England international who surprised everyone by lifting the golden boot of the EPL yet again this season.

Mourinho wants Man. United to launch yet another a world-record transfer for the English striker. Last world-record bid was for a French midfielder named .... well… we all know Paul Pogba and how things went last season.

Mourinho desire to get Kane in addition to his wish to lure Alvaro Morata to United, and for once he’s thinking the right way; the two young strikers in his attack is better than a superstar Christiano Ronaldo near retirement.

But one wonders where Man Utd will draw the line on their crazy spending at Mourinho’s whim, particularly after the disappointing displays of Pogba last season.

Henry Kane who has now won the English Premier League’s Golden Boot for the second time in a row is the arrow head of the Spurs attack. This season, he finished top scorer ahead of the likes of Romelu Lukaku of Everton and Diego Costa of Chelsea, helping Spurs end the season in second place on the EPL table.

The chances that Man United will get a player like this off Tottenham is very minimal, to say the least. Complicating matters is that just this past December, Henry Kane put pen to paper in a new contract that keeps him at Tottenham till 2022, which means that Man United have to cough up an amount in excess of £100 million if they want him.

Right now, Ronald is busy with Portugal in the Confederations Cup campaign and right after he will be sitting down to talk with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is just 32 and while Man United claims to be interested in getting him, they have not submitted any bid.

Also interested in Ronaldo are Paris Saint-Germain and other clubs in the cash-rich Chinese Super League. They have all made offers but the Latino superstar is holding out for lord know what.

If Ronaldo cannot reach an agreement with Real Madrid, he’ll leave and Real will surely move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard.
