The Chelsea match agaist Fulham covered. and other trnafer news too.

English champions, Chelsea FC of England seem quite busy today indeed and trust us to bring you the details.

After a tedious training session this morning, which we brought to you in photos here on this blog, by the way, the Blues took a rest and then moved into action in their first friendly match of pre-season.

But sometime during the break, the Chelsea boardroom came to a final agreement with Monaco and France Midfield star Tiemoue Bakayoko and a five-year deal got the player's signature all over it.

Bakayoko was given the Chelsea number 14 shirt and turned loose in time to meet up with the rest of his Chelsea team-mates that took on Fulham this fine evening.

Chelsea vs Fulham – match report

Tonight, Chelsea gave Fulham the trashing their fathers forgot to give them years ago as a superstar studded team which included David Luiz, N’Golo Kante, William and new goalkeeper Willy Callero ran pure riot on the pitch.

Sitting and watching from the stands, brand new signing, Tiemoue Bakayoko, certainly looked delighted.

I think we’ve got ourselves a real live Chelsea believer here, any way back to the match.

William made short order of the Fulham defense in the opening minutes of the game and a neat goal was the result. Two minutes later he made it two goals.

The veteran defender, Caesar Azpilicueta somehow managed to put the ball in his own net but it was clearly an honest mistake. Nonetheless, Fulham were suddenly looking alive until Michy Batshuayi put the flame right out of them again with a nice equalizer and then doubled it right quick.

William put the nail in Fulham’s plastic coffin with a beautiful hat-trick well before half time. Antonio Conte, suddenly feeling he had seen enough of professionals, began to make changes.
He made 10 quick changes in all. Practically changed the whole team, he did.

Chelsea conceded a penalty and Stefan Johnson of Fulham was there to convert it into a goal.

Loic Remy soon put Chelsea four goals up again after he found himself with the ball and an empty post.

Caesar Azpilicueta, gunning for a goal to atone for his earlier mistake, the own goal he conceded, found the back of the proper net this time with 155 minutes to go and then Remy was there again with the ball and the post to make eight goals in one single day thanks to a nicely taken spot kick.

Chelsea’s next game comes against Arsenal in a week’s time and with the confidence, they have now built… installed in themselves, they would be surely looking to claim their own pound of flesh to atone for the FA defeat they suffered recently at the hands of the Gunners.

I hope they remember that defeat well enough to seek proper vengeance because a lot of Chelsea fans do and it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Chelsea should have a bit more firepower in the defense and midfield this time around to stop the rampaging Arsenal attackers.

We’ll see though.

In all, today was a good day at the office for Antonio Conte.

Till there's more news, cheers!
