The complete round up on Chelsea FC transfers

The transfer market is now fully open and the buying and selling of players are on. Now, while most other clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United are already bringing in players, Chelsea FC seems to be in low gear.

But what is it they say about being slow... it's being steady and shrewd, right? Let's hope so because too much slow can lead to big problems.

Apart from a goalkeeper pilfered from Manchester City on a free transfer last week, Chelsea FC is yet to sign a single player although they have sold several already.

Let’s take a look at what the transfer market has seen so far in terms of Blues bargaining power to buy players but first, we got to talk about John Terry.

John Terry to Aston Villa

It was the unmaking of a legend last week as the Chelsea captain put pen to paper for Aston Villa.

Yeah, John Terry is now a Villa player with a 60,000 pound a week wage, and trust me, the uproar that followed that transfer alone made Twitter one of the hottest places on earth to be a Chelsea fan, with mockery being thrown at them from every angle, particularly from Arsenal fans.

John Terry had offers from China and the US but choose to remain in England and play for another club, which effectively killed his legacy at Chelsea. What everyone forgets is that John Terry is a natural leader who is used to making sacrifices for others. For him to have sacrificed his legacy this way speaks to only one fact ….. he was unwilling to uproot his family to make a fresh start in a new land. Indeed, Terry made the sacrifice for family.

Stefan De Vrji Linked To Chelsea

The Blues have been linked to De Vrjil in previous transfer windows but nothing came of it.

Currently, there has been no formal approaches announced by the Blues for the Italian based defender but with his agents in talks with Lazio to secure a better deal for the star, gossip is rife in the air.

Talks are said to have stalled and Tuttomercatoweb, an Italian football gossip website, is now reporting that Tottenham and Chelsea are keen on the player.

This guy who can't get a raise from a club like Lazio isn't coming to any top-flight London club soon, never fear.

The Costa-Conte War

There is a full-scale war between Chelsea manager, Conte, and Diego Costa after the Italian reportedly told the striker bluntly that he will not be part of his plans anymore and so is free to leave.

Costa has now rejected offers from China and Italy in favor of a return to his former club, Atlantico Madrid who are under a FIFA transfer ban until January. Costa has chosen to sit on his ass at Chelsea and wait until January.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that this is holding up Chelsea’s move for Everton’s striker, Romelu Lukaku. The big Belgian will cost a lot and Chelsea need to sell Costa to be able to shell out a lot. We are talking a new world record fee here.

Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea

German international defender, Antonio Rudiger has been tipped to join Chelsea this summer. In fact, the deal was all but done until a recent wind blowing up from the industrious city of Manchester upset things.

According to the Mirror, the wind is Manchester City who are trying to steal the world-class central defender from the Blues.

Leonardo Bouncci and Alex Sandro

The two world-class defenders have emerged as Chelsea targets in this summer’s transfer window but Juventus are at their handball game yet again. One moment, the deal is on and the next it’s a no, no, and then the price goes up.

This was the case with Bouncci last summer, which saw his price tag rise to 50 million pounds in record time and now it's Alex Sandro’s turn.

Sandro’s price tag has already hit sixty million pounds and Juventus are still unwilling to do business after first agreeing to do business. What sort of thing is that?

Antonio Conte still wants both men to boost his aging backline and so the Blues are still in talks Juventus.

Danilo to Chelsea

Acceding to Spanish sports newspaper, Marca Rackon, Chelsea have made an inquiry for Real Madrid right-back, Danilo

The 25-year-old is seen as a potential fit in the right back region where Nigeria's Victor Moses is having a hard time now and then.

Some say an initial bid of 22 million pounds from Chelsea was turned down by Real.

Dele Ali to Chelsea

The football gossip papers in England are agog with the news that Chelsea has made inquiries for Tottenham superstar Dele Ali. The natural number 10 is just what Chelsea need to boost a midfield that’s packed with defensive talents but Ali will not come cheap as Tottenham are not that despertate to sell their prime star.

The youthful England International will command a price of no less than eighty million pounds.

Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea

According to every sports news outlet in the world, this is a done deal within the next two days.
The Monaco Star is set to replace Metric in the heart of Chelsea’s midfield and open the door for Man. United to sign the big Serb for a whopping 40 million pounds.

That’s it for now, folks. Stay tuned to this blog for more. Did I mention I’m a Chelsea fan? Well, now you know me.
