All the latest Chelsea News and transfers, Barcelona and Milan

Hello, folks. I’m back with more news after an unofficial break of just 24 hours due to logistics and its Chelsea Updates most of the way, however, I bring you a drop of some red today to mix with the blue blood!

Conte Signs New Deal

As most of you know by now, Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has finally put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with our favorite Club Chelsea.

One thing you guys do not know is that he was supposed to sign a long term contract. The rapid fire Italian, who has been linked with a move back to Serie A all season is definitely unhappy with Chelsea’s attempts to frustrate his work in the club.

Chealse are now in China for preseason and the club is still without a main striker. Does Roman Abrahamnowich want us to win trophies or not?

This is exactly the opposite with Jose Mourinho who smiles to the bank each Monday where he cashes in his beefy Man United salary and allowances even as he has the most expensive footballers in the world to play with.

The Daily Mail reports this morning that the Portuguese has all but told Man United fans that he plans to stay put at Old Trafford until retirement, which is in 15 years’ time he says. They all excited down there at Old Trafford and this a club that managed to get in the Champions league though the back door!

Antonio Conte, 47, nearly walked away just this summer after numerous disagreements with the Chelsea board and their transfer tactics which are spearheaded by technical director, Michael Emenalo.

Chelsea had better sit up fast because they are no longer the moneybags in town. Man United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all rich but it's Inter Milan that's most worrisome.

Inter Milan, backed by their new Chinese billionaire moneybags, Suning Holdings Group, are sure to come circling around Conte again with an improved contract offer from the one they dangled before his eyes last season. That contract was worth £12.75 million per season. This was earlier in March this year.

The contract Antonio Conte signed does not extend his initial contract with Chelsea beyond its expiring date of 2019, but it brings his wages closer to that of rival managers such as Jose Mourinho.

Lying right through his back teeth like only a smart guy can, Conte told reporters and the world via Chelsea official website that he was very happy to sign a new contract after a most difficult first season.

Either this guy is a shrewd businessman or he's preparing for a departure in less than 2 years.

We are done with Conte and so here comes the bit of red as promised, but first my coffee. I really don’t know why talking about footballers who earn too much money makes me so hungry and thirsty at the same time! Trust me, this news is big.

Neymar Set To Join PSG

Forget the blue in the Barcelona FC uniform and concentrate on the red as every serious Blues fan should when looking outside the club.

It looks like PSG and Barcelona are set to sit at a table and set out terms for a swap of two of their major stars.

Barca wants PSG’s Italian midfield maestro, Marco Verratti, but the French club will only do business if they get 25-year-old Neymar in the bargain.

PSG have been after Neymar for several years now, king vampire style. But Barcelona refused to sell all this while. However, things have changed now with the hostility between Neymar and the club following the tax charges against him by the Spanish authorities.

The superstar is just one of many foreign footballers in Spain to have come under the spotlight of the Spanish authorities over tax evasion, Messi and Ronaldo have been there. In fact, Messi was sentenced to jail and then the sentence was suspended, which literally makes him an ex-con on the loose.

Spanish new outlet, AS, is reporting this fine morning that Neymar has given his father, who is his manager, marching orders to find him a new club and the old man is holed up in one of the most expensive hotels in Paris as he exchanges words and drinks overpriced wine with PSG’s super rich president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Manchester United are believed to be interested in the player so it's most likely that Neymar senior will go to London to see the Queen if things don’t work out in Paris.

Neymar recently signed a new deal at Camp Nou which brings his release clause to €200 million (about £175m), but that figure increases each year as he gets even better. It is estimated that the Brazilian’s release clause will hit €250m by the end of next season. The way things stand at the moment PSG will only have to trade Verratti plus a further €100m (£87m) to get Neymar

Nemanja Metric To United

According to the British news tabloid UK Metro, Metric is insisting he will only move to Man United and Chelsea have now given him the green light to talk with old Jose Mourinho.

It would be recalled that in a previous post, I predicted this would happen despite Mourinho shooting off his mouth about cooling interest in the big Serbian midfield ace.

Some would call me a soothsayer here but trust me, I don’t predict the future, just Mourinho’s mouth.

The news about Man United signing Metric is going viral this morning.

The Striker Problem Comes To A head At Chelsea

Trust Chelsea to wait until the door is closing on any major deal before they make a move.

The Blues have finally made a move on Dortmund star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Daily Mirror of England reports that Chelsea have agreed a 7 million a year contract with the player and are set to go into negotiations with Dortmund.

This development comes as Dortmund finally closes the door on selling the 28-year-old who is valued at 60 million pounds.

On the other hand, the Italian media are now reporting that cash rich AC Milan are in advanced talks to sign Andrea Belotti, the one man every expert is saying fits Chelsea style of play.

AC Milan, acting on the advice of the manager Vincenzo Montella, have offered Torino 30 million pounds plus two players but Torino have stalled.

The 23-year-old Andrea has a release clause of 88 million Pounds and his club are not willing to back down.

Conte is interested in Andrea after losing out on both Morata and Lukaku but Chelsea are moving for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang instead.

That’s it for now folks. I will be back soon enough.
